Oggi sono state presentate ufficialmente da AMD le nuove Radeon HD 7700, che hanno visto debuttare due modelli: la HD 7770 e Hd 7750. Anche Gigabyte lancia nel mercato i propri modelli GV-R777OC-1GD, GV-R777D5-1GD e GV-R775OC-1GI

La nuova fascia media vede la presentazione di due interessanti proposte caratterizzate da una nuova architettura GCN basata sul nuovo processo produttivo a 28nm con come in codice Cape Verde e caratterizzate 640 Stream Processors per il modello HD 7770 e 512 SP per il modello Radeon HD7750. Entrambe hanno un controller verso la memoria a 128bit e supporto alle memorie GDDR5. Le schede supportano l'AMD APP Acceleration, Microsoft DirectX® 11, AMD HD3D, Crossfire™ ed il supporto allo standard PCI-Express 3.0.

I modelli presentati da Gigabyte hanno alcune customizzazioni di rilievo, come il modello GV-R777OC-1GD che è caratterizzato da un clock per il core grafico di ben 1100 MHz, 4500 MHz per le memorie GDDR5, un sistema di dissipazione proprietario di Gigabyte con ventola da 100mm e componentistica Ultra Durable 2. Come la sigla lascia intuire si tratta di una versione custom della Radeon HD 7770 con principalmente un overclock molto spinto sulla frequenza operativa del core grafico.

L'altro modello è GV-R777D5-1GD che invece è caratterizzato da frequenze operative standard, vale a dire in questo caso il core grafico è impostato a 1000 MHz mentre le memorie GDDR5 hanno sempre una frequenza di 4500 MHz.

Infine il modello GV-R775OC-1GI invece fa parte della famiglia delle Radeon HD 7750 ed ha un core clock di 880 MHz, memoria a 4500 MHz effettivi sempre GDDR5 e componentistica Ultra Durable 2.
